They’ve Arrived!

February 7, 2008

Mostly I get bills or junk in the mail. Sometimes I find a check in there, but usually the postman doesn’t deliver fun things. Monday, he was the bearer of good things. He brought my Pinetree Gardens seed order. My whole entire order (including a small splurge on a dial seed sower), with the exception of the fingerling potatoes which ship sometime between April and June. Now I need to get busy.

Since I started “weedless gardening” last year my beds are ready. I can start sowing things and I don’t have to wait to be able to till my soil. This is the first time I will be able to take full advantage of the early season. What can I plant right now?? Help, Angelina!! I can start peas, but all peas? I have shelling peas and snap peas. What else? Oh, this brave new world of early season gardening.

You have been prolific since yesterday!

Your seeds are fabulous. I enjoyed looking through them.
