Can Baking Soda Curb Global Warming?

January 8, 2008

See, I told you baking soda is wonderful stuff.

On a different note, we got snow last night!! It didn’t stick around til morning, but there was white stuff coming down out of the sky and sticking on the ground around midnight.

You know what I’m getting tired of? I’m tired of people always telling other people that the changes they are making to help slow down global warming are being “eradicated” by something else that’s going on that’s out of our control. So should we all just give up?

I think the baking soda idea is really cool!

NO, NO, NO!! We shouldn’t give up. Even small changes add up. Speaking of change, I read a while back about an old guy who bought a brand new truck with all the change he had saved for the past 14 or so years. It was to replace his truck that he had also bought with change. He uses cash for everything and puts all his change at the end of the day into a jar.

It’s an excellent example of how something so seeming insignificant can add up.

OH, that question was rhetorical- you know I have no intention of letting those people bring me down. (that’s why the post about doing the math).

I am afraid that those people are making a lot of other people feel that it’s all hopeless. Such a shame. I’d like to combat that. The only kind of combat I care to do.
