Geek Week of Words, Day 2

October 18, 2007

In contrast to yesterday’s word, we have today’s word: moribund

–adjective
1. in a dying state; near death.
2. on the verge of extinction or termination.
3. not progressing or advancing; stagnant: a moribund political party.

It’s not a tragically unfashionable cummerbund. Nope, it’s worse; it’s the sash of death.

Quite the opposite indeed. It was unintentional too, or at least subconscious. The word just popped into my head when I sat down to post.
