Yesterday was the first time I met a friend in real life that had been only a blog friend prior. It’s kind of weird to know a person in a way, but not know them. Luckily for me, Angeleen at Lucky Seven Cat Ranch is even better in person than online, which was quite a treat, because she is quite nice online. The much anticipated and once postponed meeting started out with gourmet BLT’s so I knew that it would be a great time. How could things go wrong with a start like that? Angeleen’s two daughters are so sweet and her youngest and Isabel got along like gangbusters. They are very similar and that worked out well, which isn’t always the case. Her oldest is much like Maddy and they got along very well and Maddy was sad that she wasn’t there the whole time because of school. The cows and cats were so fascinating to the girls, especially Juliana, since we have neither of those animals at our house. We drank some of my home-roasted coffee and chatted cozily. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. Yay for blog friends become real life friends!

Awe, shucks. You’re makin’ me blush…

    Right back atcha, Girlfriend!

It was a delight in every way and I’m thrilled that the weather cooperated so the girls could tear around outside (two of them in their princess gowns) to their heart’s content!

    What a pleasure.

I just love it when a plan comes together!

“Here, here!” to the “Blog friends to real life friends” statement!

I’m sure our children will make sure we see each other again soon! Plus, I need to return Isabel’s very important rope. Do you suppose she thought she’d need it for the cows? She really was trying to think of everyhting. One just never knows, does one?

    That was so awesome! šŸ™‚

Oh yes, the weather was very nice for playing outside. A tad chilly but bright and dry.

I’m not exactly sure why she thought she needed a rope. Maybe for the cows. Maybe she was formulating a plan just in case she and Grace didn’t get along!

Man, I’m so missing out on everything fun!!! On the other hand, it’s good that you two got a chance to get to know each other without me there to chatter everyone into the ground.

I’m so glad you all had a good time!
